Vasiliy Skorykh
Lead Pastor
The founders of the ministry, Vasily and Olga Skorykh, emigrated to the United States as refugees from the USSR in 1995. Immediately after their arrival, they founded the Mission “Answer in Jesus Ministries”. Just 1.5 years later, they returned to Russia as missionaries with their young children and founded 7 churches in the Urals. Today, Vasily and Olga Skorykh, along with their 6 children, live in Minneapolis, Minnesota and continue to lead Answer in Jesus Ministries. Vasily serves as the President of the Mission and as the pastor of the church “Answer in Jesus”.

Answer in Jesus Church is a vibrant and dynamic non-denominational evangelical church located in Coon Rapids, Minnesota. Our church is dedicated to sharing the message of hope and love found in the gospel of Jesus Christ, and we believe that this message has the power to change lives and transform communities.
